Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Residential HVAC Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations supporting our residential installation and service teams. This role is responsible for inventory control, material staging, logistics coordination, and supervising warehouse staff to ensure technicians have the right materials, at the right time, every time. The ideal candidate has HVAC industry experience, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day warehouse operations for residential HVAC equipment and materials
  • Manage inventory levels, including equipment, parts, and supplies for installation and service departments
  • Oversee receiving, stocking, staging, and distribution of materials for jobs and service calls
  • Coordinate job material staging to support daily and scheduled installations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or ERP systems
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Work closely with installation, service, and purchasing teams to forecast material needs
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of HVAC equipment and refrigerants
  • Enforce safety standards, OSHA compliance, and company policies within the warehouse
  • Train, coach, and supervise warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor performance
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
  • Coordinate equipment returns, warranty items, and core tracking as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse or inventory supervision experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or construction trades
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC equipment, materials, and components
  • Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer proficiency
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and materials (with or without assistance)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a residential HVAC company
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with barcoding or cycle-count inventory systems
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes and vendor coordination
  • Leadership or team training experience
